Today, May 1, is Johnson County Great Give Day! Designed to highlight the work being done by nonprofit organizations in our county, it is a great chance to learn more about organizations like the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature and to support that work.
As the organization that brings you the Iowa City Book Festival, the One Book Two Book Children’s Literature Festival, MusicIC, Poetry in Public and much more, the City of Literature does a lot to make our community a better place. To support those efforts, please consider making a contribution on Great Give Day.
More than 60 area nonprofits are taking part today, so be sure to visit the Great Give Day site to learn more about the work being done. We also encourage you to help to spread the word about these organizations so everyone can know about the nonprofits that improve quality of life for everyone.
